Kunal (14) is blind. But that doesn’t matter, he thinks: he is bursting with talent. His grandmother thinks so too. He knows all the capitals of the world by heart and blows everyone away with his husky singing voice. The Indian Kunal lives with the nuns in a boarding school. The Monsoon Show, a singing competition in which mainly sighted children participate, is coming up soon. Kunal is smart enough to ask his classmate Neeraja to sing a duet with him; she happens to have the most beautiful voice there is. While Sister Ria helps them with the preparations, we see how nothing or no one holds Kunal back. He fights, plays cricket, acts and sings.
